He has a charm about him and a prominent accent that screams Texas. He is muscularly gifted, with another gift in being athletically talented. Wife: Lyndsey Johnson Kennard - deceased Son: Logan Kennard Dog: Appa Girlfriend: Olivia Page Personality Chad is wary of people as a general rule of thumb. He's not going to be rude and just ignore you, but he will keep his guard up until he knows you. He had a difficult childhood, groiwing up without his father and carrying around a criminal record. Chad has been through enough in his life to decide he doesn't need any more issues. The loss of his wife took him a very long time to date again, but he has and it has been good. Biography Chad was not of a privileged childhood. His parents weren't together and his mother had named him after her favorite Elvis movie, Blue Hawaii, in which Elvis's character was everything but close to Chad's reality. In fact it unwittingly promoted him to be the opposite, besides the privileged background thing, of course. Didn't mean he couldn't steal and lie about it, making people think he came from that type of background. He didn't know his Dad, nor does he care to find the donor that helped create him. He lived life with the motto of "Grew up a screw up" until the one time that he tried to pass off a lie in a bar and got into a fight with a female, who just happened to be an undercover cop. That was just how his luck had turned at the time. She busted him for petty theft, noticing the watch he had on was one reported in a robbery. A week after his release, he went to the station and told her he wanted to report a crime - claiming she stole his heart cause she handcuffed him. After a bit of counseling, lessons learned, and growing up, Chad changed his ways and turned over a new leaf. He picked up a badge of his own and started teaching what to look for. Lindsay and Chad were married after only dating a few brief months. Two months after, Lindsay learned she was pregnant. Scared and excited at the same time, Chad insisted she switch jobs with him. He didn't want her going on undercover jobs. He was just as successful as her in the wold of undercover work. After Logan was born the two continued their work. Lindsay's parents watched Logan for them whenever they needed. If it hadn't been for the Johnson family, they wouldn't have been able to continue their jobs. Then an on the job accident took Lindsay from them. Chad grieved hard, and leaned on his in-laws for a lot including raising Logan. Chad is a widow, and single parent, after an undercover operation turned tragic. His wife, Lindsay, left them in 2006, five years ago. Chad spent close to a full year out of work and Logan refused counseling for nearly four years. When he was offered a job, teaching at the Police Academy in The City, he took it. It was the chance he needed, to start over in a new place, to give Logan friends that wouldn't remind him of what he had lost. Some room to recover... Which is exactly what they did. Since moving to Morningstar they have both grown, made friends, and gotten their lives back. Chad continues to work with the police force, has a few friends, and a girlfriend. He still talks to his former in-laws but just about Logan, especially now that he's talking about college in Texas. He has brown hair though in the summer light you can see flecks of red, and hazel eyes. Yes, he's a geeky smart kid, but he doesn't look like one for the most part. He is skinny, a tad on the non-pale side and doesn't wear glasses, but he loves playing Xbox and gets straight A's in school. After spending a long time getting past the death of his mother, he doesn't let people close and doesn't trust easily. Recently he has become better friends with some school mates, Asia in particular, and goes to do fun things on the weekends. Biography Logan was born not even a year after his parents had married. Chad Kennard was new to the police department, a newly recovered criminal now teaching the cops how to catch the crooks. Lindsay Johnson was an undercover agent turned desk jockey. She'd been a sweetheart at the station and nobody wanted to see Chad upset if anything happened to her. Logan remembered spending a good amount of time with his grandparents in Austin, Texas. It wasn't far from where they lived and he was there when his parents worked. It wasn't bad for him. They let him play with legos and play dough and even let him test out little science projects. Like the results of mixing baking soda and vinegar together. When he started school he learned more things to try, and quickly latched on to science. It was something he loved since everything was constantly changing. There was always something new to learn. Right around the time his parents decided to tell him about their undercover work, he wished he hadn't known. The only reason they had told him is because his mom wanted to get back to the job she'd loved over the desk job she'd been stuck in. On her first job back out undercover, something had gone terribly wrong. She died that night and all Logan remembers is being upset with her for keeping secrets. He withdrew from everything he was a part of and he pulled away from everybody that tried to help. After almost a year of time passed by as he felt more like a spectator and less of a participant in his life. They didn't celebrate holidays. They didn't celebrate birthdays. There seemed like nothing left to celebrate. Then a day came along where most of their things got packed up in brown boxes by complete strangers. The strangers loaded the boxes onto a truck, and Logan said goodbye to the grandparents he'd practically been raised by. His dad promised to send Logan to visit over holidays, but wouldn't make the same promise of himself. He had taken a new job in a different place. It meant starting over. Leaving all of this behind. Forgetting everything he'd ever known. Logan started Andover High School in the fall of 2007. He took nearly six months to unpack his things, silently protesting the move until he realized it was pointless. There weren't many other kids in the building, but he has managed to make one friend - Emma Brooks. Then he got to know the other people in his classes and eventually emerged from the shy, quiet boy he was to be a normal-ish teenager. He has friends and goes to do fun things on weekends, and kinda has a girlfriend even though they have yet to have a non-group date. She grew up there, attending school with some people that managed to hit it big in entertainment. Eve had always been a popular girl, the stereotypical peppy cheerleader in charge of most decorating crews for student body activities. Once she turned sixteen she became very, very popular as she'd learned how to manipulate the older boys into appreciating her curves in trade for buying her material things. Eventually she dropped out of school, faked a diploma and declared graduation ceremonies to be overrated, then faked an acceptance letter for the University of Nevada and moved to Las Vegas where she could legally enjoy, and profit from, her previous behavior. Las Vegas is where she met Niles, slept with him on a one night stand and was later contacted by a Doctor Drew something or other, telling her where Niles was currently. He'd said that he missed her and wanted her to come be with him. Even though Eve hadn't talked to Niles herself, she picked up and headed for Morningstar Manor. Upon getting there, she realized the wait list was a mile long, so found another place to live in the City and got a job working at a relatively new strip club called The Underground. She's decided that stripping hasn't made her enough money to afford the lifestyle she'd like, so she's also picked up another job, escorting for Isabella Rossi. She just hasn't told each of her employers about the other, stating she has "limited availability" instead of admitting to another job. She dates, as is her job, but has just recently started toying with Granger Hall because he's fun. Eve has a tendency to be a little crazy from time to time, a little bit jealous and a lot possessive, but a little crazy never really hurt anybody, has it? Being raised in a strictly religious household, he doesn't usually drink or swear. H's only had one serious girlfriend before meeting his wife and he's completely devoted to her. Even then, he's skeptical about the legitimacy of those words, since he doesn't actually know the language. He likes the woods. Used to like the beach, but not so much anymore. Sand just doesn't get along with him here recently. One day he wants to learn to surf and in the meantime swimming is perfectly fine. Any other free time Eli gets he usually spends in the gym. Eli is also allergic to penicillin and had a broken arm once from a fall in gym class, then broke a toe after spraining his ankle in a training mission when he landed wrong. During the time he's been a part of OEF he has been diagnosed with PTSD, but he refuses to believe it is valid. Biography Elias Patrick Scott grew up in the middle child spot of his family. Being one out of five, he learned early on how to fend for himself and to stick up for his beliefs. His father is a factory worker and his mother is a school teacher, which left little extra in a house with five kids. Eli has had a job since he was 14, starting off working on farms. When he graduated high school, he enlisted with the Army so he could get funding for college. Why the Army? To honor his Great Great Grandfather, who fought (and died) in the Civil War. Plus the extra bit of an incentive offered by his JROTC officers while he was in high school helped too. He's been sent off to Iraq and Afghanistan, working as a spec. ops. (special operations) guy with the Marines. Because of his dedication to service Eli has received awards and recommendations, changing his duty station to the Wyvrn base here outside The City. He's scheduled to separate from the Army in September of 2011. After spending almost a year between Iraq, Afghanistan and various other locations, he figured it might be worth spending extra to live in a bit of luxury. Being smart and investing his extra pay and bonuses helped him get quite a hefty savings account to make that possible. No way does he want to go back to the shoe-string style budget he grew up on now that he can afford to pay for a little bit of luxury. It was during that part of his life, he met his war time pen pal, Beatrix James at a comic convention. They hit it off immediately and she asked him to stay so they could talk after the convention. It was the first date of many more to come. They became an official couple on October 26, 2009. He took her to meet his family for Thanksgiving, then they spent Christmas together just the two of them and Bea's puppy Pippa. New Years Eve Eli whisked her away to New York City, then off on vacation to Spain. It was a diversion tactic for his deployment in February. On their way home they visited Bea's grandparents, where Eli asked permission to marry her. He didn't want to worry her while he was gone, so Eli didn't pop the question until he got back. They were married in Croatia on June 7, 2010. Since being married, they added to their family - an Australian Shepard puppy named Pax to even out the spoiled Pippa. With what seemed like the best option, her father enlisted in the Air Force and they were on their way to Texas. There, her mother learned she was pregnant again and they had orders to North Dakota where Erin was born. Another year, another move and another baby. This time it was in Ohio and Shawn came along. Orders came down again, along with a promotion, and Erin’s father was shipped to Japan for two years. It managed to stretch out into a total of 3 years, 8 months. Unable to take the family with him due to cultural diversities, Judith returned to their home state of New York to stay with her parents again. Once there she settled in, got a job and Michael started school. The next duty assignment for Marcus was an 18 month stay in the Middle East, with only six days home in a single year. Erin started school next, and within the year they moved again, to North Carolina this time. They stayed there until Marcus changed branches to the Army and signed on to an Airborne unit, transferring the family to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Operation Desert Shield kicked off and Judith’s hope of a girly girl came through with the announcement of their last child, Elizabeth. It put a solid span of time between oldest and youngest, but the oldest three were mostly self sufficient. Erin had found her niche with the boys, and they accepted her as a fairly close to equal. She’d fought her way up to prove to them that she could hold her own. Her brothers became her best friends, and through school she was always the tough girl, always looking for acceptance. She signed up for sports in every season and excelled in them. She excelled in her academics, and took off for spring break the first time during her junior year. There was an incident there, and she fell quickly and madly for a firefighter in Panama City. Upon her return to Kentucky, she convinced Michael to go sign up for volunteering with her at the local hose station. Erin had to prove herself over again, but found it a pleasing challenge. Michael went off to college the next year to continue training in the medical field, and Shawn had no desires to pick up the volunteering, so Erin continued on her own. She now resides in The City and is employed by the local fire station, Ladder 9. Erin keeps her distance from her family though she does talk to them on a semi regular basis. Her brothers anyway, since she got along with them better than her sister, or her mother for that matter. Things were good with everybody for a while, then she took Callan home to introduce him to her family and as per usual, the shit hit the fan and spiraled out of control again. She spent a lot of time working to fix the damage, concentrating on Callan and what she wants for herself in life. Roxanne was in a class when she was notified. Her "sister", Alexis came to get her. Roxanne was then notified by the state that she had been adopted at birth. For Roxanne that was more devastating than hearing the people whom she cared about most in the world were taken away from her. She turned her back on Alexis. She set out to find her biological parents. She quickly realized that Ruby and Joel were better to have raised her than the whore of a mother she found in Julie Davidson and the drunk of a father she'd named as Roger Batley. By law, she was Roxanne Noel Jacobs. That would always remain, for if it hadn't been for Ruby and Joel she'd be nobody. Completely nobody. Roxy moved to The City to continue her education. She attended classes at Rutherford to obtain a degree in sports medicine. She currently works as a personal trainer, at a fitness club downtown called Torque. Her list of clients has grown over the past year only allowing her a couple days off a week, with the exception of every Wednesday afternoon. She has always had that off and she has promised herself that little indulgence. She has managed to patch things back together with her sister, after a much needed break from school and vacationing in Florida. Some have said she ran away, not being able to hack school and the guy she'd been seeing have an addiction to pain pills, but she just needed some time. Getting to know her sister again and getting to know her nieces did her a world of difference. She no longer was the hardened girl with the broken background. She returned to Morningstar Manor, finished school and in the process decided to never look back at where she used to be. It was probably one of the best choices she's made, because now Roxy is very happily married and looking forward to facing every new day with Spencer. Biography Tristan is the only boy born to Anabella and Anthony Winters, though not the only child. He has a sister, Tabetha, who is a year older than he and an absolute princess. Growing up, the children never wanted for anything. Anthony provided everything they could ever ask for, and some things they didn't. They went to the best private schools money could buy. When Tristan was in middle school, he had a rebellious streak that caused several school suspensions and some in home tutoring. Anabella was the model wife of a figure head mobster. Anthony has been in the business since he was a teenager - upholding the "family tradition". Tristan was expected to take over the business. It wasn’t kept any secret from him. Learning his father’s expectations was part of the reason he went to college for business. He could make any business into a front. Tristan, while still young, is a very important business man. While in college, Tristan made his mother’s dream come true by asking his high school girlfriend to be his wife. Anabella was floating above the clouds when she heard the news. Tristan’s girlfriend had been daughter to one of his father’s business partners. It would mean quite the merger for the Winters family. Unfortunately, Allie had other plans for her future. She turned Tristan down, finally coming clean and telling him she’d turn to prostitution. Tristan found it hard to trust women after that. Distrust and heartbreak fresh on him, Tristan moved in order to take over one of his father’s strip clubs. It was a front - at first. Tristan was just the pretty face running the place while his father continued to launder money and run prostitution from the club. Tristan has made a few friends, met his best friend, and ran into a childhood friend in the time he turned the club into a legitimate business. He was there when his bestie separated from her husband, then played the part of her rebound even though he wished it would have lasted. When it ended he spent a lot of time on his own. They remain best friends because Tristan can't deny what she has taught him - how to care about somebody enough to let them into his life again. It wasn’t until Tristan met Rhiannon, that he decided to give dating another chance. Since February 2010 he’s been with her, exclusively, happy and content without looking back. They made the big move in together when Rhiannon found out she was pregnant, and little Sophie presented herself early on February 23, 2011. He has pierced ears that are gauged to a size 2 (which means you can see through a Q-tip sized hole in his ear) and has a tattoo on his right leg. Travis usually has shaggy looking brown hair that he pays little attention to, unless he's going out or entertaining his girlfriend. His eyes are a green/gray/blue mixture depending on his mood and the light in his surroundings. He inherited them from his mother. However, he does know how to cook (and clean up afterward). Biography Travis was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 13, 1990 and a full five minutes before his twin brother Tyler. His father, Jack, owned a profitable garage by the time the boys came along. Jack liked to dabble in the demolition derby circuits, and previously sold used cars for a while. Travis’s mother Anne, was a nurse at the hospital he was born in. She loved her job and wouldn’t trade it in at all - which is why she'd stayed in the same job since she'd finished school. Along with his twin brother Tyler, Travis also had an older brother, Memphis - who is thirteen years older than he is. Having twins took a toll on the family structure and slowly Jack found reasons to not be home while Anne worked opposing shifts until the boys started school. Memphis was shifted the responsibility, but Travis just remembers him as an awesomely cool brother that knew everything and never stood as competition. Not like Tyler anyway. Travis turned into the class clown, always distracting the other students and making fun of teachers. Class clown turned into troublemaker and before long he was being brought home by squad cars. Having been deemed a hellion by his father, he ran from the cops, stole road signs, skipped school, got drunk and didn't care about anything but him. Faced with the choice of moving or military school, he took what he thought was the "easy way out". It backfired on him when he tried to get Emma Brooks drunk and met the wrath of Alec Reyes. After that Memphis stepped in and took control, laying down the law that Travis followed. He graduated from high school on June 18, 2008 and from there enrolled in Rutherford University. Currently he works part time at Moray Records when he's not busy with schooling, and fills in sometimes when Memphis needs him at the garage. But most of his free time is occupied with Macy - Travis's girlfriend.
